We are delighted to see that Northlink Ferries have highlighted St Peter’s Kirk as a place to visit in Orkney. In an article on their website they recommend the beautiful Bay of Skaill as a place to travel to in October for some of the island’s best scenery and heritage.

The Neolithic village of Skara Brae is a must, of course, as is the 17th century mansion of Skaill House. But St Peter’s merits inclusion alongside these better-known visitor attractions as a place where you can step back in time in the atmospheric interior of this historic kirk.
